Jacques Cousteau
A French naval officer, oceanographer filmmaker and author who co-invented the self-contained underwater breathing apparatus (SCUBA) which assisted him in the production of the first underwater documentaries.
Marechal Rondon
Called the “Gandhi of Brazil, he helped build many infrastructure projects in Brazil and was the guide for the Roosevelt-Randon Scientific Expedition of 1914. The Brazilian state of Rondônia is named after him.
